The other day when I was at a store I found one of the most cool toothpaste flavors I’ve ever seen: cupcake toothpaste!

It’s made by a company called Accoutrements and when I saw the cute, pink toothpaste box with a happy smiling cupcake on the front my first thought was that I must share it with you guys! I was just browsing the net for cute nail art ideas and came across this video by youtuber “cutepolish” for creating Nyan cat nail art! I thought it was super-cute and had to share it!

A couple of weeks ago I saw this photo on pinterest and tracked it down to the blog fabfatale.com which is full of inspiring manicures!

I ordered myself a bottle of Deborah Lippmann Nail Lacquer, Boom Boom Pow which arrived today, so today I had a go at recreating this look!

I’ve applied some nude / pink nail polish which I had at home (by OPI), followed by a coating of the Deborah Lippmann gold glitter polish and it came out looking really cute!

I would wonder how these artistically talented ladies managed to draw such beautifully intricate patterns and designs on their nails and I silently resolved to one day find out how they do it so that I could learn how to make such gorgeous nail art myself.

In many cultures, a girl’s pearly whites are one of her most important assets in determining her beauty.

About a month ago, I switched toothpastes because whilst my previous toothpaste was keeping me cavity-free and was also keeping my dentist happy with the health of my teeth, lets just say it wasn’t winning any awards in keeping my teeth very white. In fact, I suspect that one of the essential oils in it was doing quite the opposite!

I try to be health conscious and choose toothpastes that are free of chemicals like parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate and other things which are often advised we stay clear of. After consulting with my friends who work in the Naturopathy and Nutrition field, I settled on a toothpaste called AloeDent: Whitening, which seemed a promising mix of being from the healthy end of the toothpastes and – well, it had “whitening” promised in its very name!
