Searching for mother-and-child illustrations for an article I’m writing for another site, I came across the cute work by Lindsey Rounbehler. In her Zazzle shop she has some adorable mother and baby art on a range of different products. Below are some of my favorite designs by her:

A couple weeks ago I was browsing on facebook pages for stuff to share with you guys and I came across Breakfast for Dinner who just happened to be doing a giveaway that week for an adorable Hamilton Hamster plush toy. I really like helping out up-and-coming artists, designers and creators get the word out on their cute creations (and if I’m honest, a part of me also quite fancied winning a little Hamilton to add to my ever-growing plushie collection!) so I shared Breakfast for Dinner’s giveaway on our ohsogirly facebook page.

A little while later, after the giveaway had ended, I received this message from Breakfast for Dinner:

“OhSoGirly – thanks for the great share! ^_^ I would like to send you a runner up prize!!! email me your address for your gift”

I felt excited, surprised and all warm inside!

I was just browsing the net for cute nail art ideas and came across this video by youtuber “cutepolish” for creating Nyan cat nail art! I thought it was super-cute and had to share it!

For my last birthday my brother got me these hot pink earphones (dB Logic EP-100 Earbud Headphones); a good gift for someone who loves music like I do. And they really are excellent earphones.

One problem though is that if you listen to music a lot like me, you may find yourself getting your earphone cables in a tangle occasionally. One way to solve this is with a cord manager, and when I was shopping around for cable tidy solutions, I was delighted to see that you can get some really cute ones! I wanted to share with you some of the cutest earphone winder devices and other related cable winders I found to help you wind up your excess cables whilst you’re using them and when you roll them up tidily after using them too. Yes, even sandwiches can be cute!

You may have seen pictures of the amazing bento box art that some Japanese mothers make for their kids to take to school. But cute sandwiches don’t just have to be for kids! In fact, tiny adorable sandwiches have been part of the time-old English tradition of Afternoon High Tea for many years.

Hello Kitty is one of my favorite cute characters (or as you’d say in Japan, kawaii!). Everything about her is sweet: the fact that she’s so round that it makes you want to hug her, her beautiful smooth snow-white fur, her little bow and even some of the facts about her that most people don’t know about, like that Wikipedia describes her height as five apples and her weight as three apples! ^_^

Although she was invented in the 1970s, Hello Kitty has moved with the times and can now also be found on the most high-tech of equipment. Yes, there are even Hello Kitty USB flash drives now so that even something as ordinary as saving your work can be sprinkled with a touch of kawaii!
